The adventure began in 1980 with a team of only 2 people with experience they brought from the lands of Africa.
Initially in a small warehouse, the first steps were taken to create Auto Radiadores E.L.G, with tenacity, resilience and dedication an opening was created in the Portuguese market to establish this house, always trying to satisfy the requests of customers who were now headed to our doors.
From repairs we went to manufacturing and with the arrival of new machines also came new challenges. The team grows and in 1985 Auto Radiadores E.L.G was composed of 8 people, divided between repairs, manufacture, office and distribution.
It is also at this time that the company opens new facilities, built from scratch and adapted to the needs of the market that were imposed in order to respond to our customers. The facilities, where we remain to this day, are composed of 600m2 divided into repair, manufacturing, reconstruction and office areas.
In 1993 an opportunity arises to make a commercial partnership with Nissens A/S Denmark and is thus created Radiadores Nissens Portugal, a proof of trust and quality of our services.
Nissens A/S - Denmark - is one of the most respected European manufacturers has its products are recognized by quality certification (BVQI) as well as other standards (ISO) that allow us to be in this market of radiators and auto cooling systems in general, in a responsible and always cooperative way with our customers.
For more than 20 years these two houses have been operating independently, but the needs of the market are increasingly growing as well as the need to give a quick response to our customers, so we then opened the doors to other markets such as Italy, Belgium and Poland, thus strengthening our permanent stock of Nissens Denmark.
With these changes it now made sense to unite the two houses , Auto Radiadores E.L.G and Radiadores Nissens Portugal now form the EDAN Group - made up of the same faces, services and permanent stock to our customers.
It is also with Edan Group that we open doors to other types of items, in addition to radiators , we also have car accessories such as mirrors, vehicle lighting, windscreen wipers and glass lifts.
2025, thus comes with a long-awaited "marriage" facilitating the customer response and diversity of products and services.
